Bits of News

It's been a while since the last blog post, so it's time for some news on what's been going on around the office. Besides listening to the Broadway cast recording of Hamilton on loop (Nonstop!), here's what we've been up to....

The winter holiday season was our best ever -- thank you, everyone! It was so busy that we wouldn't have been able to do it without our new assistant, Kimberly. Hi, Kimberly! So glad to have you on the team!

In this photo, we're working on wholesale orders. Recently the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, and the New York Hall of Science started carrying our jewelry. This brings our total brick-and-mortar locations to 17 world-class museums, bookstores, and boutiques across the US and Canada. One of my goals for 2016 is to expand our reach into more gift shops and college bookstores, making science & math jewelry more prevalent and recognizable.

You may have heard about our new  Solar Spectrum pendant last fall. If not, you should check it out. 50% of the net proceeds go to The Trevor Project, an organization that provides services in crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBT+ youth. This past week we were able to donate $1104 from sales over the past few months. Thank you to all of you who helped make that happen! We will continue to donate the accumulated sums on a periodic basis.

We have a couple new pieces of jewelry, including a very cool new  pewter anatomical heart necklace. It's one of my new favorites, especially because I just love the weight and feel of this particular chain. It matches the pewter heart perfectly, with a subtly-edgy, steampunk sort of flair.

To wrap up, I am experimenting with some new designs and medium possibilities, including some math-oriented keychains, some leather cuff bracelets (it would open up a whole new line of design options if it works...), and maybe steel water bottles. I'll let you know what pans out.

As always, thank you all for your enthusiasm, love, and support!

P.S. - I just ordered inventory for a new space-themed piece that is going to blow your mind. It'll take a few weeks to line everything up, but I cannot WAIT to show it to you.
