Theropod Dinosaur Footprint Necklace

7 items left

Theropods are members of the dinosaur clade theropoda. They are aptly named from the Greek for "wild beast" and "foot" and are characterized by hollow bones and three-toed limbs. Both the famed Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Velociraptor belong to this group. Current theories suggest that theropods evolved into modern birds... making the ostrich the largest extent theropod and the bee hummingbird the smallest.

Our hand-stamped theropod footprint necklace is both stylish and subtle. You can tell the moment when people recognize the pattern because they do a double-take and then their faces light up with amusement and delight!

The pendant is made from hand-stamped and hand-finished aluminum. It comes on an 18-inch high quality, thick sterling silver chain.

Perfect for:

  • Dinosaur lovers & paleontologists
  • Museum enthusiasts
  • Elementary school teachers
  • Mothers of young children (aka velociraptors, as I used to call my toddlers while trying to keep them out of trouble... life finds a way)
  • ... Really, anyone with a special place in their heart for dinosaurs, evolution, or fun, unique jewelry
