What is minuscule and what is grandiose? The difference between the two depends on your perspective. From the universe's point of view, you are a speck, a tiny bit of matter in a tiny corner of space. But from the perspective of an electron, you ARE a whole galaxy, unimaginably rich and diverse, beautiful in your complexity and uniqueness.
The image for this galaxy pendant is from Messier 74 (also known as NGC 628), a magnificent face-on spiral galaxy that is only slightly smaller than our own Milky Way Galaxy. (Many thanks to NASA and the Hubble Space Telescope for the photo.) The image is printed on a translucent medium in order to give the 1" pendant a slightly luminescent look. The back is sealed with a jewelry-grade resin and is water resistant (although you should still not wear it swimming or in the shower). The bail is silver-plated and on your choice of a black leather cord with a silver clasp, or a silver chain. Both the cord and the chain are adjustable from 16" to 18".
